Question: Can I use a DVI to D-sub adaptor for the ASRock RX500 series?(3/1/2019)

Answer:
The RX500 series do not support D-sub outputs, so DVI to D-sub adaptors are not supported.
As for a HDMI/DP to D-sub convertor, the third-party adapter chip will be required, which may occur some problems such as no signal, no system display, etc.
We strongly recommend users using a direct DP, HDMI or DVI connection to the card.

Question: I have installed a graphics card on my system, but monitor doesn't display the signals. What should I do?(3/1/2019)

Answer:
Please refer to the following suggestions to check your system.
1. Unplug the graphics card and see if the system can display from onboard graphics. If not, the problem may be caused by other peripherals instead of the graphics card.
2. Check the cable connections between the graphics card and your monitor.
3. Make sure the PCIe power cable is well connected to the graphics card.
4. Ensure the input signal setting of the monitor is properly configured for the graphics output (DVI, HDMI, DP…).
5. If your motherboard supports more than one PCIe slot, please install the graphics card to other PCIe slot and try again.

Question: How do I play a 4K BD movie through a Pioneer Ultra HD Blu-ray drive on Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac?(4/1/2017)

2. When the system boots up, press "F2” to enter UEFI setup screen.
Go to Advanced > CPU Configuration and enable "Software Guard Extensions” in BIOS setting.
Press "F10” to save and exit the BIOS setup screen.

3. Boot into O/S. Install all drivers for the M/B.
Install ME driver(v11.6.0.1126_SW_MSI). Download the driver from the following link:

4. Please enter Control Panel > Hardware and sound > Sound.
Select "HDMI output”

5. Enable the "UHD color” on the TV.

6. Due to the fact that HDR is not supported by Intel 100 series chipset, please disable ”UHD color” from TV.
Put a 4K movie BD disc into the Pioneer Ultra HD Blu-ray drive.

Question: What kinds of DisplayPort dongles does Beebox support?(8/1/2015)

Answer:
Beebox's DisplayPort only supports DP to D-Sub dongles. DP to HDMI dongles and DP to DVI dongles are not supported.

Question: If I install two monitors (DVI and D-sub) on FM2A88X Extreme6+ and boot up the system, the system will freeze during Windows 8.1 booting process. How do I solve this problem?(3/1/2015)

Answer:
Please make sure that you meet the required conditions listed below.
1. The DVI port on the motherboard must support HDCP.
If you aren't sure about the DVI port's specifications, please refer to the specification for your M/B on our website.

2. Connect a DVI to HDMI adapter.
3. Adjust the DVI function option to [as HDMI] in BIOS\Advanced\North Bridge Configuration.

4. Set HDMI as default playback device in Control Panel\Sound.

Question: How do I use dual monitors in Maximum 3D performance mode with a GTX690 VGA card?(11/1/2012)

Answer:
The GTX690 has two GPUs that will work together in Maximum 3D performance mode.
You have to connect your monitors to DVI_2 & DVI_3 which come from the same GPU.

Question: My motherboard is ALiveNF6P-VSTA / ALiveNF6G-VSTA (MCP61 chipset). I'm encountering some problems with SATA HDD when installing the drivers of the motherboard under Windows^® Vista™. What should I do?(4/28/2008)

Please refer to below suggestions.
If you want to install the Windows^® Vista™ with non-RAID mode:
Install the SATA driver v998 from support CD during the installation of Windows^® Vista™.

Yes, ALiveNF7G-HD720P/ALiveNF7G-HDready supports HDMI output.

2.Under Windows^® Vista™/Vista 64-bit, go to "Sound" settings and select the Digital Output Device (SPDIF) as a playback device.

Question: I connected ALiveNF6G-DVI with DVI card to a DVI monitor. When system resumed from standby mode under Windows^® Vista™, I got black screen on the monitor. How can I solve this?(12/19/2006)

Please refer following steps to disable "Hybrid Sleep" under Windows^® Vista™.

Step1: Please click "Control Panel".

Step2: Click "System and Maintenance".

Step3: Click "Power Options"

Step4: Click "Change plan settings" of "Balance"

Step5: Click "Change advanced power settings.

Step6: Click "sleep".
Set "Allow hybrid sleep" to off.

Step 7: Click OK or Apply to finish the setting.

Question: I have AM2NF6G-VSTA/ALiveNF6G-DVI motherboard. The onboard LAN does not work properly under Windows^® Vista™. How can I solve this?(12/19/2006)

If you encounter this problem, there are two solutions you can choose, pls. select either one at your convenience.
Solution1
Please flash BIOS to P1.70 or later for AM2NF6G-VSTA and P1.60 or later for ALiveNF6G-DVI.

Or please refer following steps to re-write MAC address under Windows^® Vista™.
Step1: Check MAC address.
When system boot up, press "F2" to enter BIOS setting.
Boot-> "Boot settings Configuration" -> set "Boot From Onboard LAN" to "enable".
Press "F10". System will restart.
Please "F11" and select "NVIDIA Boot Agent".

Then you will see MAC address, pls. record it with no space for later usage.

Step2: Boot system into Window Vista
Right click "Computer" and click "Properties"

Step3:
Click "Device Manager"

Step4:
Click "Continue"

Step5.
Right click "Networking Controller" and click "Properties".

Step6:
Choose "Network Address" in "Advanced " folder.
Write "MAC Address" which got from step1 into Value item.
Then click "OK".

Question: My onboard audio is AC'97 audio. The front panel audio connector cables of my case are different from the description of manual. How should I connect them? Please advice.(4/21/2006)

Answer:
The wording on the front panel connector cables may be different by each chassis manufacturer. Please check the function of each cable. Otherwise it may damage the board if cables are connected to the wrong connectors. We found that if you connect the "GND" (Ground) or "USB VCC" (USB Power) connector pins to the "+5V" pin, it will damage the motherboard after booting up the system. So we recommend you must not install any connector on the +5V pin of the Front Panel Audio header. It will not affect the Audio function if you remove the connector from the +5V pin.
For this reason, we will remove the +5V pin from the Front Panel Audio header of our products in the future.
