Question: I used Sempron 2600+/2800+ CPU with K8Upgrade-760GX / K8Combo-Z. The specification of the boards can support CPU Vcore adjustment and CPU multiplier setting functions. But in the BIOS setting, this option is showed as gray and can not change the setting. Why?(6/23/2005) Answer: We found some of Sempron 2600+/2800+ which lock the Vcore and multiplier. It is not able to change the CPU setting even we have the option in BIOS. Please leave this option as default setting.
Question: I use an AMD Sempron 2500+ 64bit CPU with K8Upgrade NF3/ K8 Combo-Z/ K8Upgrade-VM800/ K8Upgrade-PCIE/ K8Upgrade-1689/ K8A8X-M motherboard. According to the specification of the boards, it supports CPU Vcore adjustment and CPU multiplier setting functions. Why?(9/20/2005) Answer: According to AMD CPU specification, some of AMD 754 pin Sempron 64bit rev. E CPUs (e.g. Sempron 64bit 2500+, 2600+ and 2800+) have only one allowable state on CPU Vcore, so if user plugs in this kind of CPU, the "Processor Voltage" and "Processor Multiplier" options will be shown as gray and cannot be adjusted in BIOS.
Question: I installed a Windows XP operating system for 775Twins-HDTV in my SATA HDD. I want to duplicate my SATA HDD to another new SATA HDD by using GHOST program. After finished, the new duplicated SATA HDD cannot boot up. What should I do?(11/18/2005) Answer: We recommend you to install Windows XP on your original SATA HDD again and install the SATA drivers at the beginning of Windows XP installation. Please refer to the following steps:
Step 1: Please go to BIOS to disable the "ATA Combination Mode", or you can reserve it as default value. (BIOS/ Advanced/ IDE Configuration/ ATA Combination Mode/ Disabled)
Step 2: Please press "F6" to install SATA drivers at the beginning of the Windows XP installation.
Step 3: Install the SATA drivers. (Please make a SATA Driver Diskette at first. Please refer to the 775Twins-HDTV user manual page 25.)
Step 4: Start to install the operating system.
Step 5: After finished the Windows XP installation, we recommend you to install the SATA driver from support CD.
Step 6: Now, you can start to duplicate the HDD by using GHOST program.
Question: I use a Samsung HD080HJ (P80SD) 80GB SATA II HDD on K8Upgrade-NF3. After installing Nvidia all in one driver from the support CD, it takes a little bit long time to boot into Windows® XP. 1. Under Windows® XP, please go to "Control panel" and choose "Add/Remove program" to remove the Nvidia IDE driver.

1. Make sure the monitor cable (HDMI/DisplayPort) is properly connected to both the monitor and the output on the graphics card, motherboard or notebook.
2. Install the latest graphics driver for your graphics card or for the integrated graphics of your CPU and test.
3. In the OS, check which audio device is set as default output device. Check all the volume settings as well in the OS and on the monitor.
4. If possible, please test the monitor audio with another motherboard or notebook.
