Question: How do I adjust the shared memory while using Raven Ridge CPU on AM4 platform?(3/1/2018) Answer: Please adjust the "UMA Frame buffer Size” under Advanced\North Bridge Configuration:
*To support 4GB shared memory or above, please adjust CSM support to Disable under Boot tab firstly.
If you don't see ”UMA Frame buffer Size” under North Bridge Configuration, please follow the steps below to find it and adjust the OC settings.
1. Please press "F2” or "Del” during POST to enter BIOS setup
2. Refer to the following path to adjust the OC setting.
a. Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\GFX Config IGC :Forces
b. Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\UMA Mode : UMA_Spec
c. Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\UMA Frame Buffer Size: Choose a prefer size
d. OC Tweaker\OC Mode Change Switch\AMD CBS Setting
3. After adjustment, press "F10” to save the configuration.
Question: Where could I get the maximum share memory on H55 series motherboards?(7/15/2010) Answer: The shared memory size is dynamically controlled by VGA driver, and the maximum share memory size will be available only when more than 4GB memory is installed under 64-bit OS. Please kindly refer to the following steps to check the maximum graphic share memory.
1.Visit the "Display" option in the control and choose "Advanced setting".
2.Choose ""Intel® Graphic and Media Control Panel.
3.Click the "Graphic Properties.'

Question: I am a K8NF4G-SATA2 / 939NF4G-SATA2 user. Is it possible that I can adjust the onboard VGA shared memory to 256MB?(11/18/2005) Answer: In BIOS SETUP, the Maximum onboard VGA shared memory option is 128MB. If you want to set it to 256MB, please install 512MB or greater system memory and set the onboard VGA option to "Auto" in BIOS SETUP. Then the VGA driver will dynamically allocate the shared memory size to 256MB.

Where can I adjust the VGA shared memory size?(4/8/2005) Answer: Intel 915GL chipset supports Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT). DVMT will dynamically allocate VGA memory based on system needs and is not user configurable.

Question: When I use ASRock P4i45G(L) M/B, I see there is 1MB shared memory from the system memory shown in the POST screen during boot process. What is the 1MB shared memory used for? (6/13/2003) Answer: The 1MB memory is used for VGA BIOS (before loading OS).
Question: Why I only saw 224MB memory installed in my K7VM2 system? (12/25/2002) Answer: The 32 MB for VGA will be shared from system memory. So if you install one 256 MB memory, the on board VGA will use 32 MB then your system can only use 224 MB memory.
