(A) Identify the triangle marker on the CPU and the CPU socket cover

(B) Lift up the latch lever

(C) Open CPU socket cover

(D) Identify the triangle marker on the CPU and place the CPU

(E) Place the CPU and close the CPU socket cover

(F) Close the latch lever

Close the latch lever

(G) CPU socket cover comes off

(A) Locate the three torx screw on the CPU socket and unscrew them according to the order 3→2→1, which is printed on the socket.

(B) Open the first retention cover.

Open the first retention cover.

(C) Open the second bracket.

Open the second bracket.

(D) Take out the internal plastic cover.

Take out the internal plastic cover.

(E) Install CPU along with the orange carrier frame, do not separate them. Please make sure the carrier frame with CPU is closely attached to the rail frame while inserting it.

(F) Close the bracket that holds the CPU.

(G) Close the bracket that holds the Cover.

Close the bracket that holds the Cover.

(H) Close the retention cover. Fasten the torx screw according to the order 1→2→3.

Open the first retention cover.
