Step 1. Loosen the five screws marked in yellow circles on the back side of Z170 Extreme 7+. Then remove the I/O cover.
Step 2. Use the red wires to connect the mini-PCIe WiFi card to WiFi antenna ports on the I/O port.
If the connection wires between WiFi antennas and mini-PCIe WiFi card are longer than 26 cm, please follow the steps below.
Step 1 –Loosen the five screws marked in yellow circles on the back side of Z170 Extreme 7+. Then remove the IO cover.
Step 2 –Route the red wires as the picture below to connect the WiFi antennas and mini-PCIe WiFi card.
Step 3 – Install the IO cover back to Z170 Extreme7+ as below picture.
