TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 22, 2011 – Consumers nowadays are seeking for speedy computing environment. XFast USB is rolling out superfast data transfer technology up and down the motherboard market. The ASRock XFast USB supported motherboards are already being connected for a performance boost. It is currently the fastest USB transfer solution in the world which can possibly double USB transfer speed.
XFast USB Technology
Since Microsoft® Windows® only assigns 10% resource from one USB device, ASRock XFast USB Technology creates QOS (Quality of Service) to let USB device work more efficiency. Hence, USB protocol was changed from single-task to multi-tasks to boost up USB performance. To cater for user's various needs, ASRock implements XFast USB Technology on its full range motherboards from entry to advanced levels.
The significant performance increase of ASRock XFast Series MB has been heavily spotlighted by global professional IT media and has become the hottest talk of recent tech issues. The intelligent tool is the most efficient software that helps users to make more things done with less time.
Even more remarkable characteristic is how much transfer time these XFast USB motherboards actually take. Find out the tips to make the PC work faster; let's check out the latest benchmark reports done by worldwide PC experts.
ANANDTECH (From THE US)
Test MODEL : P67 Extreme4
"We test the motherboard's USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 speed via CrystalDiskMark. We run the sequential test to find the optimum read/write speed, then perform a copy from the SSD to the USB device. We copy a set of 2867 files across 320 folders—95% of these files are small typical website files, and the rest (90% of the size) are the videos used in the Sorenson Squeeze test. Total size is 1.52GB.
We also tested the ASRock XFast USB software. While making a slight difference to the sequential read/write speeds, it actually makes a difference in real-world situations where large amounts of small files need to be copied. USB 3.0 didn't benefit as much as USB 2.0, and it's worth noting that without XFast the USB 2.0 speed was the slowest of the three motherboards, but it does provide a benefit and turns the Extreme4 into the fastest overall USB choice." said Ian Cutress, Review Editor of AnandTech.
In terms of USB 2.0, 3.0 and file copy tests, ASRock P67 Extreme4 performs best among three motherboards. It's quite interesting to note that the XFast USB gives a pretty good showing in performance terms, demonstrating that there's huge improvement in transfer speed.

ASRock has a new utility, which you can download from ASRock's website. You can turbo boost the USB interface performance and the speed increase is noticeable. Before XFast USB is set Turbo, it achieved 156MB/s. With Turbo turned on, it scored 241.32MB/s in Sisoft Sandra Physical Read performance test."
The superb XFast USB provides up to 37% performance boost in Sisoft Sandra Physical Read test. It is undeniably the essential tool for getting the fastest speed from your USB device.
