TAIPEI, Taiwan, 6th January, 2025 - ASRock announces a full line-up of motherboards using the AMD B850 chipset. New products include high end Phantom Gaming series line up covering mITX to ATX form factor, mainstream Steel Legend which features white PCB design and also Pro RS series for budget friendly users.
The new ASRock B850 motherboards are designed with 14+2+1 power phase, 8-layer PCBs enabling excellent memory overclocking and exclusive low-ripple 1000μf 20K black capacitors that guarantee stable and superior performance for the CPU. The boards also support the latest PCI-Express Gen-5 Graphics card and equipped with Blazing M.2 (Gen5x4) SSD ports.
ASRock B850 motherboards also includes 2.5Gbps LAN and the latest and fastest WiFi 7 (802.11be) 2x2 on selected models, offering next-generation multi-gigabit speeds and low-latency connectivity.
The new ASRock B850 motherboards come with a newly designed DIY-friendly "Lite Release" graphics card latch and toolless M.2 heatsink to simplify system setup. ASRock even provides an additional heatsink pre-installed under the M.2 SSD, it can significantly reduce PCI-Express Gen-5 SSD temperatures to help prevent thermal throttling. All motherboards include the BIOS Flashback function, accessible via the rear I/O, allowing for effortless BIOS updates even without the CPU and memory installed.
The new ASRock B850 LiveMixer WiFi offers a wide range of connectivity and expansion options, including 23 USB ports, dual PCI-Express x4 slots for peripherals such as capture cards. This motherboard also supports Lightning Gaming Ports to give fast and low-latency connections, Ultra USB Power delivers stable, noise-free power for USB audio and also portable devices reliability.
